Cedarburg Auction has been hired to sell the collection of Mr. & Ms. Barnes of
Menomonee Falls. This is an absolutely rare opportunity to buy Frank Lloyd Wright
furniture and accessories, Arts & Crafts furniture, and Mid-Century Modern furniture. The
Barnes are avid Frank Lloyd Wright followers and collectors and have one of Menomonee
Falls more interesting Wright-inspired Mid-Century homes. Along with the Frank Lloyd
Wright collection there will be furniture designed by Michael P. Johnson, and some
blueprints and paper ephemera. Mr. Johnson taught at the Frank Lloyd Wright School of
Architecture in Arizona, and is an internationally recognized architect and Wisconsin native.
Also added to this collection is the estate of Mr. & Mrs. Norman Rupnow, who were
prolific art collectors, world travelers, and Mr. Rupnow was an artist himself.
