This is an exceptional, over-the-top collector’s auction featuring an extraordinary range of fine antiques, decorative arts, and estate treasures. Highlights include a long-held collection from Caledonia, WI dating back to the 1960s, a significant estate from River Hills, and numerous outstanding consignments. Together, these collections create a truly remarkable and diverse sale. The auction showcases an impressive selection of art by prominent painters, sculptors and other artists, including pieces by Charles Melville, Marc Chagall, William Bloom, Pablo Picasso, a John Petrey sculpture, Nic Lenz, Nicholas Briganti, Giorgio de Chirico, and more! 18th-century furniture, including blockfront chests, tea tables, chairs, and drop-front desks. Victorian furnishings featuring a Berkey & Gay bedroom set, burled walnut suites, griffin-carved pieces, a New York pierce-carved sofa and armchair, wardrobes, marble-top tables, commodes, and more. Turn-of-the-century oak furniture includes hall trees, rolltop desks, wardrobes, filing cabinets, tables, chairs, and an antique icebox. Additional highlights include Tramp Art and Folk Art collections, as well as fine decorative pieces from Meissen, Dresden, and Lalique. The auction also features a standout clothing collection ranging from the Victorian era through the 1970s, including dresses, jackets, hats, and accessories, highlighted by a beautiful grouping of Louis Vuitton luggage. Jewelry offerings include over 100 lots of costume and fine jewelry, with diamonds, 14K gold rings, sterling silver, and timepieces including Rolex.
